Crossroads Christian Fellowship began in 1991 at Hunters Creek Elementary School and later bought the property on Center Street in 1992.  Dave & Karen Baldwin were the founding pastors and current Pastor C.L. Varvell began in August 1996.  C.L. & Cora Varvell, originally from Kentucky, spent 17 years ministry in Ohio before moving to Florida.  They pastored in Florida for several years before moving to North Carolina.
