About us
Our Father/Son co-pastors bare the fruit of two generations of pastors. They both have a passion for seeing people come to know Jesus and help believers as they continue the journey in Finding Direction.
Meet The Pastors
Senior Pastor Luke Varvell and wife Heather, children Drew, Sky, and Hadley.
Pastor Emeritus C.L. Varvell and wife Cora.
Crossroads Christian Fellowship Assembly of God opened it's doors on 126 Center Street in 1991 with Pastor David Baldwin. Pastor Baldwin later went on in missions to Russia and other areas as an evangalist. In Nov 1996 Pastor C.L. was voted in as the new pastor of Crossroads. He and his wife Cora, eldest daughter Susan, son Luke, and youngest daugter Abby were our new pastoral family. Since then all three of his children were married here at Crossroads. They have all served in ministries throughout the years including worship and children's ministries.
His son, Luke, served as Worship pastor from 2000-2003. Luke and his family moved to KY in mid 2003 to continue in Ministry. In 2006 Luke and his family moved back to NC and Luke served as interim Associate Pastor to Crossroads for a year before moving to AL in late 2007 where He and his wife Heather served on staff at Word Alive International Outreach for 7 years. In 2014, after 18 years of service to CCF, C.L. entered into a retirement capacity as Pastor Emeritus and his son Luke is now Senior Pastor to Crossroads Christian Fellowship.
Meet The Team
Kurt and Rhonda Miller
All kinds of areas including Administrative Office/Book Keeping, Maintenance and Decorating Committee. Rhonda manages most events and office matters as well.
Scott and Penny Ross
Royal Rangers program, they both have served for many years. Scott also helps with maintenance and Penny works heavily with foreign missions trips.
